Having a good lifestyle is very different from owning assets.

If you want to fly comfortably, one option is to build financial assets and occasionally buy a first-class ticket. The other option is to own a private jet.

You get luxury in both cases, but the amount of wealth required is completely different.

The same thinking can apply to cars or houses. You can live in a luxurious apartment without owning it, which can give you financial flexibility and time to create assets before making the purchase.

The important question is not only what to own, but also when to own it.

“Having a good lifestyle is very different from owning assets.”

“Don’t get obsessed with creating an asset for it.”
