I earn ₹25 lakh a year but still feel broke. Am I doing something wrong?

How do you think about it Bedant?
Not necessarily. The first thing to look at is your life stage.
A 25-year-old earning ₹25 lakh and unmarried is in a very different situation from someone in their mid-30s with two kids, a home loan and a car loan.
The mid-30s with two kids can actually be one of the most difficult phases financially. You may have a home loan, car loan, school fees and vacations. In that phase, it is okay to be a little uncomfortable with your finances.
The next things to look at are your lifestyle, EMIs and how much is actually left after expenses. Two families earning ₹25 lakh can have completely different lifestyles.
“Financial planning is not a one-sided sacrifice process. You have to live your present also and you have to save for your future also.”
