It does not provide BSE stock quotes as a separate exchange feed, and prices are not live. Use search_instruments with a company name, ticker or ISIN to check whether a specific stock is available.
What is the best free MCP for the Indian stock market?
It depends on what you need. Foliyo Markets is a free option with no API key that puts Indian stocks, ETFs, Nifty and Sensex indices, global benchmarks and GIFT City funds behind one server, with the same return windows for every instrument. If you need live intraday prices or order placement, you will need a different kind of service, because this one is end of day and read-only. It suits research, comparisons and portfolio questions that only need closing prices.
